Monster Cookies

In fact, it would be downright hilarious.

Jon woke this morning to move the traps before the boys went downstairs.  This is what he found:

The bucket experiment:  Nothing in the bucket except peanut butter.

Trap #1 in the basement:  Snapped and flipped a few feet away.  Cheese nibbled.  NO MOUSE!

Trap #2 in the kitchen:  Gently pushed out of the way so the mice could enter safely.  Cheese still intact.

AURGH!!!!

In true sitcom fashion, I have the urge to run out and buy every trap on the shelf.  And a cat.  Try them all.  We both have the desire to video tape the little critters and see what’s going on with them.  I wish we could!

I have a playgroup this morning so I can’t run out and buy all the traps.  Jon, who is much more level-headed about this, will have to do it.  Maybe I can go along with him before the playgroup starts…I’ll also need some steel wool, and maybe some mothballs for the basement.  Forget the budget.  What’s a little debt when your health and sanity is at stake, right??  I’m pretty sure I got less than three hours of sleep last night; this cannot go on!
