One little gripe.

Okay, so our new neighbours seem to be turning out to be okay. Well, if you don’t count my wariness of them due to their daytime activities. I’m so curious, I want to go over and knock on their door and conduct a short interview.

Question #1 - Do you have a vehicle? Why isn’t it ever here?

Question #2 - Do you have a job? Why don’t I ever see you leave your house?

Question #3 - Do you only allow people to enter your house if they are carrying a black bag (’cause I’ll go home and get one if you’ll let me take a peek around in there…)?

Question #4 - Are you druggies (I’m not judging you, but I’d prefer if you didn’t do drugs that might seep through our shared wall)?

I know, judgemental. But it just seems weird to me that they are answering their door at 3:00 in the afternoon everyday. And that I never see anyone leave the house, but always always people going in.

Anyway…they seem friendly enough. They don’t have loud parties and there aren’t fights or other violent episodes going on outside their house, so I can’t really complain.

The thing that bothers me though, a lot, is that they never turn off their outside light. Like, NEVER EVER. And I don’t know why, but it grates on my nerves every time I am in the kitchen and I catch a glimpse of their outside light on during the day. It doesn’t bother me at night - that’s what it’s for! But during the day…TURN OFF YOUR LIGHT!

I’d leave a note in their mailbox, but I also have noticed they only clear that out once every week or two, so there’s really no point, right?

If my obsession with spying on my neighbours continues, you will next hear of me purchasing a video camera so I can track if they ever take out any garbage…
