This is belated because the second I tried to publish this on Tuesday, my internet went down, and stayed that way for 2 days. It was a stressful two days, but here I am! And here is my randomness!
The Reason I No Longer Read:
One day last week I settled down with my toast and water and a nice light entertainment magazine that my aunt brought over for me to read. The kids were playing nicely, the house was quiet…
No word of a lie, the SECOND that I opened the cover of that magazine, all hell broke loose. Two boys could no longer resist the urge to pummel each other. One NEEDED something IMMEDIATELY. The girl dumped her water all over the table, aiming (I think on purpose) for my magazine and my toast.
Seriously.
I guess I’ll try again next year.

The reason I have low self-esteem:
In the past couple of months, I have made contact with five ladies who I would love to be pen pals with, and who have said the feeling is mutual. I have written three letters and received one.
In the past month, Andrew’s sadness about not getting any mail has gotten him THREE letters, and a list of five pen pals.
I wanna be four*!

The reason I blog:
I’m pretty sure that everything I say (in real life) makes someone angry at me or dislike me, or wish they could be somewhere else instead of with me, listening to me talk. When I blog it, people can read it or not, come back for more or just walk away forever and I don’t even know the difference (well, except for when I get comments from the same people more than once, of course. 
).

The reason that I don’t want to live in Calgary in the summer:
Today the temperature has been hovering at and below 10*C (50F), with a healthy dose of rain.
Sure, every “summer” day is not like this, but the fact that we rarely break 20*C (68F) is really starting to get to me. I used to make 20* the acceptable forecast for shorts-wearing. I’ve had to lower my expectations…now my kids can wear shorts if the forecast is for 17*C or higher. LOL

They miss getting to have their daddy’s attention anytime they want it. He returned to work this afternoon.
